Masturbation sleeves—also known as penetrables or masturbators, and popularized by the brand Fleshlight—make up a growing part of the indie and fantasy sex toy market. Many are aimed towards those with average size penises, but there’s a significant number of mini pens out there that are sized specifically for transmasc individuals with growth from T (and anyone with similar anatomy), specifically accommodating trans people in this market.
I’ve seen very few people outside of the target audience give fullsize penetrables a chance. It’s understandable; these things are a costly investment when you don’t even know if they will work with your anatomy. Before I got my first one, I went digging for reviews from trans men on reddit and only found one or two threads. I desperately wanted a fullsize penetrable for the fantasy of it. A mini pen feels good but isn’t hefty enough to fulfill my fantasies of being with a lover, but I had no idea what would work for me.
I took a chance and bought one. And, well, here I am now with a whole stack of them.

Notes
I’ve tried each of these toys a number of different ways: Penetrating them with my own anatomy, grinding against the outside, eating them out, fingering them, and fucking them with gender-affirming prosthetics. I’ve figured out what makes them work for me in a way that brings pleasure and gender euphoria.
Thin silicone strokers work with my prosthetics, while the mid-size to chunky ones reviewed in this article work better directly with my anatomy. Strokers get stuck in the big chunky ones even with tons of lube. If using a prosthetic, I would strongly recommend something with a better anchor than a suction sleeve, like a strap-on.
I’m approaching this article as a trans man who’s been on T for a few years. While I may use the term t-dick for clarity, I prefer to refer to my parts as either a clit or a dick. The feedback in this article is aimed towards anyone with anatomy that is sized such that pretty much only the entrance of a fullsize penetrable is usable.
Many of these penetrables have obvious seams just inside the entrance. This is normal and a result of how they are produced. I cannot feel any of the seams in use. They’re also all lint magnets by virtue of being made with super soft shore 00-20 silicone; just about every single toy I have that’s made from 00-20 feels tacky based on the nature of making the material that soft. Very few fullsize masturbation sleeves are made firmer than that because it would be way too tight for most customers.
All of these are open-ended, but if the end of the tunnel is small enough, it can be closed off with a plug such as Lina’s Plug from Neotori or Universal Suction Plugs from Synthetic Sensations. My plugs from Neotori are soft enough to squeeze into tight tunnels and fit most of these, but they’re more effective on thicker penetrables. Closing off the tunnels may create suction (not very easy, given the long length of the tunnels and the short length of a t-dick) and muffle noise (especially if using a strap-on). I normally pass on the plugs because they’re generally ineffective unless I’m using a strap-on.
A couple of my masturbators were obtained secondhand, meaning I purchased them from other collectors online. Silicone can be sanitized by either boiling in water or soaking in a cold bleach solution. If purchasing secondhand, it is strongly advised for both seller and buyer to sanitize the toy, and use standard online safety measures to verify that the person is reliable and not a scammer.
Mid-Size Masturbators
Mid-size penetrables fit easily in my hand and offer a smoother, easier experience than big, chunky ones. These have thinner walls due to their smaller size. For these to shine, they need to offer good texture and a stimulating entrance since they aren’t tight/thick enough to provide lots of pressure.
Asena (VaaChar)
Entrance: Thick, three-pronged lips
Firmness: A00
Color: Pink, maroon, white
Price: €85 ($90) medium size (also available in large)
Availability: Inventory or custom

VaaChar‘s Asena is a canine-inspired stroker that suits my werewolf fantasies well. It’s a mid-size fantasy penetrable that’s thicker than a thin sleeve, but nowhere near the bulky masturbators that I find nearly impossible to use with prosthetics. My Asena was a surprise custom pour based on purple and pastel inspiration, and the result is gorgeous.
Asena is very easy to finger and to perform oral on. It’s neither tight enough to make things difficult nor thin enough that it becomes wobbly, and unlike most penetrables, I can wrap my lips around the clit.
With my own anatomy, the entrance is where it’s all at. The three folds are highly flexible, making it easy to press in while also being thick enough to provide some decent sensation, and it easily fits my hood/foreskin. It isn’t tight like something squeezing or like a mini penetrable, but the lips provide constant pressure even while moving. This offers a stroking sensation and a wide range of movement. However, the internals are too wide, so I cannot feel much past the folds.
When used with a gender-affirming prosthetic, Asena feels like I’m having sex with someone real, like an actual werewolf or furry. Unlike many thinner strokers, the texture is not a straightforward repeated pattern, but has organic bumps and tunnel size variation. This makes it really appealing to me, but on the flip side, the less intense texture can make it harder to get off. However, Asena’s the only stroker so far that has made me come while wearing a gender-affirming sleeve.
Not only can I see Asena expanding around my cock, but I can also feel that expansion much better than the other strokers, probably in part due to the lower frequency texture. It’s a novel sensation that adds more depth to the experience.
While the thin walls don’t offer much pressure, the shape makes it very easy to grip and tighten my fist around specific parts. It doesn’t work out that easily with other strokers.
Hilting myself inside Asena, it offers something most thin strokers do not: a grindable base. The three-pronged labia at the entrance are thick and press against my own labia, adding another dimension. There is a risk of the prosthetic getting stuck and/or pulled off of me when going this deep, but with enough lube, it’s not a big concern.
The Tentacle Masturbator (Uncover Creations)
Entrance: Round
Firmness: 00-40
Color: Pearl, Starry Night
Price: €85 ($90) medium size (also available in large)
Availability: Inventory or custom
The Tentacle Masturbator from Uncover Creations fits right into their focus on tentacles. It offers the delightful fantasy of a tentacle wrapping tightly around one’s cock, with delicate suckers texturing the inside. It’s moderately sized, giving it some heft without making it too chunky. The colors I chose, Pearl and Starry Night, blended together to make an ethereal ocean-inspired pour.
The hole easily fits my hood/foreskin. However, it’s too wide to provide much pressure and the walls are too thin to be able to press down on them with my thighs, so the fit is not as good as I had thought when I first saw the design.
The texture inside, which includes both rings and suckers, is subtle. While the photos on the site are accurate, I didn’t realize how subtle that would seem in person. Even when pressing a finger inside, the texture feels very shallow.
Low texture doesn’t mean it can’t be enjoyable; that might actually make it easier to use for those wearing prosthetics, and if the fantasy is right, it might not matter. But in this case, it doesn’t do it for me.
My least favorite part is the hard edge on the entrance. A hard edge makes sense on the opposite end, but I can’t figure out why there’s one on the front end; the shape makes sense from a production standpoint but I would expect it to be more rounded at the edge. It digs into my very sensitive hood/foreskin, making the experience uncomfortable overall. Unfortunately, that one feature makes this more or less unusable for me.
It can be turned inside out, as advertised in the product description. I did this once, but it was difficult and I worried about tearing it, so I haven’t done it again. (I know silicone is sturdy, but I’m not used to wrangling it with such force.) It looked like a misshapen blob and highlighted just how subtle the internal details were. Not that I expect a penetrable turned inside out to look particularly good, but getting the actual tentacle fantasy (with the outside in) seems to sacrifice the tentacle visuals. It still had the hard edge at the entrance, too.
The Tentacle Masturbator has a lot of potential as a design and I think it could be amazing if the hard edge were softened and the smoothed-out sucker internals were more defined, or swapped out for a stronger texture that reflected the outside and the curves of the tentacle (along with making the entrance smoother). That would fit the fantasy both inside and out.
I really, really wanted to love this one. It looks gorgeous. It’s a tentacle fantasy, which I love. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations in use at all, and frankly, it loses some points in my book for being labeled a “Male Masturbator” under the “Male Sex Toys” category; there’s no reason this couldn’t be used by, say, someone with a sturdy strap-on or an average size cock, regardless of gender.
Tyramyth (Xenocat Artifacts)
Entrance: Thin lips for gentle stroking
Firmness: Super soft 00-20
Color: Tyramyth’s Signature: White-purple fade with a white wash/highlight
Price: $100 standard size (also available in large)
Availability: Inventory or customs (limited custom openings)
See Also: Thin Silicone Strokers
Tyramyth from Xenocat Artifacts is a gorgeous mid-sized fantasy stroker with high-detail ridges on top, scaly skin on the bottom, and a pierced clit. The character is an alien crew member with magnificent horns, whose art is also available on a body pillow. Mine was an inventory copy of Tyramyth’s signature pour; the model wears highlights beautifully. I love XCA’s other toys, so I had high expectations for Tyramyth, and she meets them easily.
With my own anatomy, Tyramyth offers a gentle experience. My hood/foreskin fits inside and I can feel the lips, but not much of the internal texture. When I got Tyramyth a year ago, it was too loose to use at all, but another year on T must have made my t-dick big enough for it. I don’t get much pressure and it’s not easy to press against the sides to add texture (as I do with thicker penetrables), but the soft touch of Tyramyth’s lips provides a very nice stroking sensation.
Soft, gentle, and tender isn’t my usual, but it plays into some intimate fantasies and is nice for a low-key session or a warm-up before I finish with a more intense toy.
Used with a prosthetic: The internals feature a natural ribbed texture, which I find is one of my favorite textures not just for dildos, but also for penetrables. The texture intensity is just right for me: Gentle enough for easy use, prominent enough to feel good, spaced out enough not to feel like featureless noise, and detailed enough to feel organic. It’s not quite as organic as Asena—sometimes it comes across as a plain ribbed texture, mainly if I’m moving fast—but it offers more of a fantasy than a standard pattern. All speeds work well with the texture, whether I’m after a slow ride or really want to go for it.
With Tyramyth upright (clit side up), the texture can sometimes catch on the coronal ridge of the PeenPocket. Flipped upside down, it’s smooth sailing. Either way, I need to make sure it’s lubed deep enough not to get caught on dry sections.
Thick and Chunky
My favorite part about thick penetrables is the pressure. I usually can’t get off unless I’m pressing right down on my clit with tons of pressure; rubbing or stroking is never enough. The thick walls on these masturbators naturally press inwards, offering at least gentle pressure, but I can also increase how tight they feel by pressing my thighs against them, something I can’t do with thin strokers.
I lean back, press the toy against myself until my clit is inside, then slowly move the toy back and forth, using it to stroke my clit while I rhythmically press inwards with my thighs in time with the strokes. The tightness creates a level of pressure that I really enjoy. It’s a workout for my arms and thighs, but well worth it.
All of these big ones are easy to hold, with either both hands on the hips (or where the hips would be) or one hand on the hip and the other at the midpoint or other end. I usually use my closer hand to help press the toy against myself and my farther hand to stabilize it, if not using both to press it against myself. Because my clit can only get so firm, the force to move in/out of the stroker has to come from the movement of the toy itself. It’s a little awkward to describe, but regardless, my arms are just as involved as my thighs, if not more.
At the moment, Bad Dragon produces the lion’s share of these models on the market. They’re not my favorite company, but they are high quality. A small but growing number of indie makers offer thick penetrables and I really look forward to seeing more of these models on the market.
Fiona’s Muzzle (Bad Dragon)
Entrance: Broad, smooth oval
Firmness: Super soft 00-20
Color: Mango Magic (Pink, orange, translucent pink, translucent orange)
Price: $100 (base price/inventory rogue) or $120 (named Mango Magic coloration)
Availability: Inventory or custom
Fiona’s Muzzle from Bad Dragon is a sleek, scaled dragon muzzle with a forked tongue sticking out. It’s a beautiful design; where some of Bad Dragon’s penetrables only feature details on the business end, the entire length of the toy is designed with fantasy in mind. In Mango Magic coloration, mine is bold and bright.
My Fiona’s Muzzle includes a small nick on the tip of one nostril and multiple half-moon marks on the top of the snout. After reaching out to Bad Dragon customer service, I was advised that these are within the accepted standards for a non-flop toy. I’m a little miffed about the nick on the nose since it has the potential to get worse, but it is small.
This is the only one I have so far from Bad Dragon that’s compatible with my prosthetics. The broad, oval mouth is spacious and smooth enough that it doesn’t grip my PeenPocket too firmly, and I can actually get some decent speed as long as I’m careful not to press too deep. For oral fantasies, it’s really nice.
With my own anatomy, Fiona’s all shape and no texture. As with other fullsize penetrables, I can press my thighs against the sides to add pressure, but in Fiona’s case, I need to rotate the toy sideways for an up-down oriented oval entrance. It doesn’t exactly fit my fantasies to have it turned that way, but it’s not much to complain about, either.
I just don’t get any texture from Fiona’s Muzzle. The tongue is a neat visual and fits a licking fantasy, but does very little for me as far as sensation goes. Despite the texture drawback, I find the shape alone works well enough for me and I enjoy the fantasy of receiving oral well enough that I’m happy with it.
Gideon’s Butt (Weredog)
Entrance: Round and wide
Firmness: Super soft 00-20
Color: Gideon’s Butt Signature, legacy version (Orange fur, cream belly)
Price: $115 base price ($141 for the signature coloration)
Availability: Inventory or custom
Gideon’s Butt from Weredog has a thick foxy tail and a signature coloration to match, with two-tone orange fur and a creamy belly and backside. (They have since updated the signature to be a shimmery orange instead of matte.) Opposite the tail, it has a bellybutton and a small tuft of fur just above the crotch. It has two different tunnel width options, Snug and Roomy, both of which appear to be the same width for the first couple of inches. Mine is Roomy.
My Gideon’s Butt was discounted by 30% as a flop for an inclusion (a freckle on one cheek) and a color error (inconsistent coverage of the cream color on the belly). Weredog regularly discounts flopped inventory by 20-40% for cosmetic flaws like this. (See more details about my Weredog order in my Skylar review article.)
As far as fingering and rimming go, it’s not very easy or satisfying. The opening is too wide and awkward for a tongue, and the walls are too tight for comfortable fingering, instead making my fingers cramp. I can finger it with my second and third fingers, either individually or together, but the surface is too firm when I’d rather something that feels plush.
The opposite end of the tunnel ends in a tall gash. Definitely not possible to plug that up, and while I don’t expect that end to look pretty, it’s not particularly appealing.
The wide, open butthole is lined with wrinkled texture. It fits my entire clit, hood included, without having to force it in, yet is tight enough to naturally provide pressure. It’s hard to make out the exact texture in use, but it’s a clear contrast to the gentleness of rounded labia and is more stimulating than a smooth surface. The entrance is as much as I can use; there’s no texture just past that, so all I get is that texture right at the entrance.
I enjoy the texture, though mild, and I really like the fantasy of pitching anal to an anthro fox.
When I initially got Gideon’s Butt, I was disappointed because it was a little too wide for me to use conveniently, but I seem to have grown into it since it now fits me better. Either way, I can tighten it with my thighs, so I’ve always been able to use it. The difficult part to work with is the rounded butt, which looks great, but sticks out and slightly limits how much length I can insert without really pressing the toy against myself, making for more of a workout than the others. It’s worth it for me, though.
Hawthorn (Hodge Podge Entourage)
Entrance: Tight, textured, oval lips
Firmness: 00-20
Color: Blue and purple with a shimmer highlight
Price: $110 (my legacy copy) or $130 (updated version)
Availability: Legacy version – not available. Updated version – inventory only.
Hawthorn from Hodge Podge Entourage is a downright beautiful design that wears a highlight fantastically well. Mine is a shimmery blue with purple lips and a white shimmer highlight.
Hawthorn was updated a little while ago. The legacy version that I am reviewing here is no longer available and the newer version has a different size entrance and tunnel. While I suspect the new Hawthorn in pocket or full size could work for some with anatomy like mine—the tight walls and oval entrance are a good combo—I do not have one myself to verify. I purchased my legacy Hawthorn secondhand, which is currently the only way to obtain this particular version.
Hawthorn is one that I enjoy eating out. The amount of texture at the front makes it really interesting without having to push my tongue in deep, though like many others, the tightness isn’t easy to work with.
This is one that shines at the entrance, which is exactly what I’m looking for. The tightness is perfect: An oval slit for easy entrance yet slim enough walls for natural pressure. The flower petal labia are textured, unlike other vulva designs like Tyramyth or Sapphire. Instead of gentle stroking, the texture offers stronger sensation more like what I would expect from a grinder. Combine that with the pressure from pressing my thighs against the outside and it’s perfect.
The new version appears to have a similarly textured entrance, but again, I don’t have the new one myself to compare them in person.
Sahleen (Bad Dragon)
Entrance: Tight slit
Firmness: Super soft 00-20
Color: Pastel Vulpine (Pink, blue, translucent pink, translucent blue)
Price: $100 (base price/inventory rogue) or $120 (named Pastel Vulpine coloration)
Availability: Inventory or custom
Sahleen from Bad Dragon is a beautifully sculpted penetrable with a short, bobcat-like tail sticking out at the end. Mine is in the Pastel Vulpine coloration of pinks and blues—the same color as my Archer—with the blending of the colors resulting in purple.
Sahleen is one of the easier ones to eat out, but still takes some work if I really want to get my tongue in there. It’s fun to lick, though.
The vulva features a thin slit framed by small, rounded labia. It’s very easy to press inside and offers gentle pressure even when not pressing against it with my thighs. It’s like buttery smooth silicone stroking my clit. While the slit looks tight, the length of it means I have little issue using it.
The intensity of pressure and the exact stroking sensation are different depending on whether Sahleen is angled for missionary vs. doggystyle. Missionary feels better, but is a little harder to maneuver. Both orientations feel great and can get me to the edge, but can’t make me orgasm because it’s just a tad too soft without firm enough pressure. I don’t particularly mind because it’s overall enjoyable, though it would have been nice to have some strong texture just past the lips to make it a little more intense.
Sahleen is really, really nice in use and has beautiful details, but the butt sticks out enough to make it a bit of a hassle. That drawback isn’t unique to Sahleen, but does impede the ease of use.
The tail is cute and fairly sturdy. I try not to pull it too tightly because the rest of the stroker is heavy and I don’t want to risk tearing. It’s possible to insert the tail into myself, but that’s not really my thing.
Sapphire (Weredog)
Entrance: Tight slit
Firmness: Super soft 00-20
Color: Sapphire’s Natural (Pink and blue with a white highlight)
Price: $115
Availability: Inventory or custom
Sapphire from Weredog is a dragon masturbator with plated scales along the belly, dotted scales on the skin, and spikes on the back. A tiny clit stands out from between scaled labia, right above the small oval hole of the vaginal opening. The details stand out well with the highlight of the natural coloration. It has two different tunnel width options, Snug and Roomy; mine is Snug, which looks like it’s tighter at the entrance.
For oral use, Sapphire gets a pass from me. External licking is alright, but the clit is very small and difficult to suck, and the passage is tight enough to give my tongue a workout unless I turn it sideways.
Sapphire only fits the head of my clit, no foreskin. The entrance is tight enough to squeeze, but neither rounded enough for gentle stroking nor textured enough for a dynamic experience. The result is an experienced focused on pressure more than anything else, which is nice, but not always what I’m after.
Weredog’s super soft silicone seems a bit firmer than other companies (possibly due to the size of these penetrables), so that combined with the inability to fit foreskin makes it feel more intense and less soft. Good for the pressure I love, not so good for when I want a softer fantasy.
Sapphire and Sahleen are pretty similar. I prefer Sahleen because the balance between smooth stroking vs. pressure leans towards stroking and the roundness of the labia is very nice, but using either of them for a long session ends up feeling almost the same.
Snowball (Bad Dragon)
Entrance: Round and tight
Firmness: Super soft 00-20
Color: Rogue Carrot Cake (orange, copper, white)
Price: $100 (base price/inventory rogue) or $120 (named Carrot Cake coloration)
Availability: Inventory or custom
Snowball from Bad Dragon was my first fullsize penetrable. Though the character is an anthro deer, the pour makes me think of a fox. Design-wise, Snowball seems much less inspired than most penetrables, like a tube with a hole and a tail. Is it effective at conveying a fantasy? Maybe. But there are more interesting models out there even in Bad Dragon’s lineup.
I purchased mine secondhand, so I’m not sure how it was initially marketed, but I reached out to Bad Dragon’s customer service to see how this fits within their quality standards. While the colors match their Carrot Cake coloration, this would be considered a rogue coloration because the marble style does not fit their named color expectations. The seam is really obvious on this toy—the seam itself does not stick out, but part of the toy does by a few millimeters—but I was advised that this is considered standard and would not be considered a flop. Though small, the seam anomaly has a pretty big impact on the visuals for me, as half the toy seems misaligned.
Snowball is tight. This thing’s tighter than some mini penetrables out there and is one of the tighter masturbators from Bad Dragon. It takes an effort to push inside, but I can somehow manage to get my whole clit in there, hood included. The tightness is amazing, but it only works well if I stay inside; pulling out means I need to pause and push inside again. The roundness lends itself to staying inside, so it’s not as difficult to stay in as it is an oval-shaped entrance.
There’s no texture to speak of at the entrance, so it all comes down to the pressure and tightness.
My Preferences
Though they’re not made with anatomy like mine in mind, I prefer fullsize penetrables over mini pens. The pressure is just what I need and the bigger size lends itself to a better fantasy. It may not seem like toys this size could work with my anatomy, but they work incredibly well and I want more people to know about that.
I’d love to see more mid-size strokers in-between big, bulky penetrables and thinner, bendier ones. For trans men and others with anatomy like mine, thick penetrables with the entrance sticking out (instead of butt cheeks or thighs sticking out) would probably work out better for positioning—like Weredog’s Lucy or Synthetic Sensations’ Molly—while still providing pressure and the opportunity to squeeze them. I’d even like to see more thick fullsize masturbators that are just a couple inches shorter so they’re easier to handle.
My top picks would be Asena from VaaChar and legacy Hawthorn from Hodge Podge Entourage for entrance texture; Tyramyth from Xenocat Artifacts for ease of use and stroking sensation; Sahleen from Bad Dragon for best fantasy fulfillment; and legacy Hawthorn for overall favorite.
