Adongis, with its lovingly sculpted vines and flowers, is one of the prettiest dildos I own. The design blends two things I love—texture and a humanoid shape—with a filling swell. While it looks like it should work out well for me, I had to test out its particular combination of features to find out exactly how well it would work.
Design & Specs
Kraken Monster Lab, based in Australia, crafts gorgeous designs with strong detail like their winged dildos Angelous Phallus and Heinous Penis and their heart-shaped grinders. They’re one of a few brands who sculpt their original designs in clay rather than 3D printing, with absolutely gorgeous results and a texture style that can’t easily be emulated by digital sculpting.
Adongis, which joined KML’s lineup in September 2025, is a single-size dildo with a chunky swell and beautiful texture at the base. The girth is 2.2″ diameter (7″ circumference) at thickest and 1.8″ diameter (6″ circumference) below the swell, with about 6″ usable length. It’s comparable to many medium-size dildos I own. The surface is matte and slightly rough.
In medium firmness 00-50, it’s moderately squishy and the texture feels prominent. Adongis is available to order in softer and firmer options.

I requested mine in something similar to the Fairy Floss Cloud coloration that they have made before, a beautiful marble of bright pastel yellow, pink, green, and blue. While the colors look well defined on previous pours, they turned out pale and blended on my Adongis, resulting in an opalesque appearance.
This aligns with my previous experiences with custom colors from Kraken Monster Lab: The results have been unlikely to match the request on the first try, particularly with differences in the tone/brightness. In cases where I don’t know how reliable a shop is regarding colors or I notice inconsistencies, I tend to order premade toys or request colors which will still look pretty even if they don’t turn out spot on. I figured these colors would look pretty even if they were more pale, more bold, blended together, or a less ribbony marble.
Kraken Monster Lab offered a repour due to the color discrepancy, but I declined. Indie shops like KML are small businesses working with small budgets (and those budgets are only getting tighter); if a pour misses the mark but I still like it well enough, I’m not going to request a repour. I already expect some level of variation since these are handmade products. That said, this amount of variation is notable and paying customers should be able to receive something closer to their requested colors, so I appreciate that they recognized the difference and offered a repour.

While most dildos are pretty quick and easy to wash even when highly textured, they rarely have more than one or two spots that need special attention. The texture on Adongis is very good at trapping gunk, so I need to manually run my fingers along all the texture in order to ensure I clean it fully.
Alongside Adongis, I received a cotton bag featuring KML’s Wailing Willy (their ghost dildo), a few trinkets, and an experimental squishy whose hollow head is filled with squishy orbs. The squishy is in a combination of dark metallic colors that I absolutely love. As far as the squish factor goes, I can’t say it’s that enjoyable to squish, but a dildo or silicone egg crafted using the same concept could be fascinating to use.
Adongis starts at $140 AUD ($93 USD) for a single color, and is $145 AUD ($97 USD) for a custom marble.

In Use (Vaginal)
Adongis’ swell is moderate, giving it the dynamic stretch and natural stopping point of a comfortable swell without the intensity of something that will lock inside. It’s nice and filling without being super thick or difficult to remove. For the fantasy of a thick, stout cock, the shape works out nicely.
The head itself isn’t prominent, but the folds underneath it make for a very nice texture. I really like this texture against my front wall and my entrance. Unfortunately, with the downward curve, angling it to make this happen is difficult, as the head ends up angled away from my front wall.

While the texture on the lower half doesn’t look intense, the way that it’s raised up makes it feel a lot stronger than it looks, very similar to the texture on Angelous Phallus. As someone who loves texture, this is fantastic for me. As for what it feels like, it toes the line between being well-defined and being “noise” (texture which is hard to define in use). Add on the matte finish—which adds a fair amount of friction—and it’s a pretty prominent amount of texture. I think I prefer the vine texture to the flowers, but I can’t 100% tell what’s what in use.
The base is easy to hold. Even on the smaller sides of the base, there’s enough to grasp and enough texture to make it easy to grip. I only use this one for thrusting. For riding, I’d recommend a double-sided suction cup to hold it down, as a harness/strap would get in the way of the bottom of the shaft. There is texture on the base that one can grind against, but this pretty much requires it to be anchored down, so is not something that I have done much.
For me, Adongis is very much a texture-focused design, with the shape falling secondary to the texture. The most effective way to use it is to thrust the final inch in and out to get the full benefit of that texture while enjoying the swell.

Overall
Adongis is a beautiful dildo with a moderate swell and surprisingly strong texture. While I like the look of the design and it has some nice features, it doesn’t quite do it for me in use. The texture is a touch stronger than I’d like and the downward curve doesn’t press against the right spots for me and doesn’t showcase the texture right under the head. On top of that, the tedium of cleaning the fine details deters me from using it often.
For a moderate swell with strong lower shaft texture, it’s not a bad pick. If you’re looking for a human-ish dildo with fantastical flair, or for a dildo that makes better use of this style of raised texture, I would recommend KML’s Angelous Phallus instead.
