Alliance of Independent Sex Toy Testers

Anyone can start a blog. It’s easy, it can be cheap or free, and you can share your thoughts with the world in your own format. I’m grateful that blogging is as accessible as it is today and to have the chance to share so much with my readers.

On the other hand, “anyone” expands beyond those with good intentions. Some sites post articles that are little more than SEO soup, flooding search engines with useless results based on keywords alone. Others post advertisements disingenuously presented as unbiased reviews. AI-generated articles are popping up rapidly, piecing together insincere posts based on databases unethically scraped from genuine authors. None of those provide the honesty or integrity that we deserve from supposedly reputable resources.

I hold myself to a high level of ethics, including clear disclosure of affiliations and discounts, honest feedback regardless of bias, and continuous learning. These values are a commitment to both myself and my audience. Bloggers with similar strong values have earned my respect, many of whom are part of the Alliance of Independent Sex Toy Testers, which I have just joined.

The Alliance is a network of bloggers who have committed to a set of standards based on integrity and respect. While there are many great bloggers who are not part of the Alliance, members have been reviewed and voted in by other members—so when you see the badge, you can be sure that their work meets a high standard.
