Review: Naughty Fox Santos Flared Dildo

Santos from Naughty Fox is a flared dildo with a deliciously wide head and detailed skin texture. The detail makes it great for fantasy realism, like imagining an anthro equine furry, and the shape is a classic in the fantasy market.

Design & Specs

Santos with teenies and stickers

Santos is one of the less fantastical equine dildo designs out there. While stylized, it doesn’t seem to have any fantasy features added, which may put it in the realm of “too realistic” for some people. I generally approach toys like this by considering the marketing: Naughty Fox advertises to furries, the rest of their lineup is very stylized, and the advertised colors are fantastical. I’m comfortable with it in fantasy colors while imagining an anthro furry, but I can see how it may squick others. I prefer dildo designs with clear fantasy features myself.

The flare may not look intense in some photos, but it absolutely is. In medium size, it goes from 2″ diameter along the shaft (comfortable for me) to a whopping 3″ diameter (way larger than my usual) along one side of the head. That’s a massive step up, though the head isn’t perfectly circular, being only 2.2″ across the other way.

In medium firmness 5A, it feels comparable to 00-60, a step firmer than most shops’ medium firmness 00-50. The matte texture is skinlike, adding lots of friction. (For those familiar with Twin Tail Creations‘ toys, the texture and firmness are comparable to their silky finish in medium firmness.)

Naughty Fox only offers matte colors at this time. My Santos is a marble of black and cyan. I don’t find the custom colors particularly exciting, but the marbling style is varied enough to be interesting, and they make some stunners for inventory with unique marbling and color combos.

A medium size Santos like mine would cost €114 ($127).

In Use (Vaginal)

Full disclosure: I’ve only been able to fit this a few times. The 3″ girth is a challenge for me to insert and remove, even if the circumference would otherwise be manageable, and the head does not squish down. The skin around my entrance pulls taut and I worry that it’s going to tear. I haven’t been injured so far, but without practice stretching out that skin, Santos just isn’t worth it for me to try again at this point. (Update June 2025: See the bottom of this section.)

That said, I have inserted Santos a few times, and it’s damn good.

The head is easily my favorite part. The way it presses against my front wall with constant firm pressure due to the size and the prominence of the head ridge is an experience I simply cannot get with my other dildos. The internal stretch itself is intense; it’s good, but definitely something I need to do in moderation.

Even though it’s hard to insert and remove, once the head is inside, it’s smooth sailing. Santos is easily tall enough (with heavy enough balls) to stand hands-free as I ride it, or I can lean back and thrust it comfortably. Either way gets the head to push against my favorite spots the entire time.

The shaft is right within my preferred specs, so that feels filling and satisfying, which complements the head well.

The ring a couple inches beneath the head is negligible. I love a good medial ring, so I was hoping this would feel good, but I can’t really feel this part in use. I can feel the wrinkles above the base, but most of the time I use this toy I’m not going that deep.

Despite the overall low-texture appearance, I wouldn’t necessarily compare Santos most low texture toys because of the matte finish. This makes it feel as intense as a toy with moderate texture.

Update June 2025: I don’t normally come back and update reviews, but I’ve finally gotten the size of Santos’ head to work for me. After warmup with a dildo that’s 2.5″ diameter/8″ circumference, I’m well stretched out enough to make the head fit with little discomfort—and at the end of the session, I can pull it out with a little bit of force and the briefest discomfort.

Now that I’ve had more chances to try Santos, I can speak more about the head. Different rotations and different angles press the head against different spots and the way it presses against my G-spot is a whole journey. It’s firm enough to feel the pressure from the flare 100% of the time. And let me tell you, that G-spot stim is good. I’m not sure if it’s made me squirt—hard to tell with the low amount I produce—but if it hasn’t, it’s gotten damn close.

The head is a little uncomfortable if I go too hard or try to go too deep; my cervix can only handle so much. But it’s not painful and it’s easy to avoid reaching that point.

Overall

Santos is really nice in use, but it stretches me more than I’m comfortable with, so this was an experience in learning exactly what my limits are. When I have been able to use it, it’s been really, really good; I didn’t know that I would like such a strong flare so much. If the flare were a little less pronounced or if there were a size between small and medium—something with a head the size of Naughty Fox’s medium Pepper plug, for example, or a bit larger—I think that could be one of my favorite toys in use.

Update June 2025: With sufficient warmup, the head now works for me and I’m pretty pleased with the size. A slightly smaller size would have been more approachable, but I’ve reached the goal of being able to handle this dildo without it being daunting. Sometimes a bit of time, practice, and warmup are all it takes!
