A quality plug can enhance a play session like nothing else, offering the freedom to walk around and do whatever I’d like with my hands while the plug fills me up and presses against all the right spots. Eros Foundry’s Flicker ticks the right boxes with a shape that’s great for staying in place and a girth that stretches me out.
Design & Specs
Eros Foundry crafts their dildos as elegant and modern art sculptures. Their designs focus on the foundation of excellent dildos: effective shapes and straightforward, bold texture. While most brands use 3D printed models to create the molds for the final product, Eros Foundry makes theirs from clay, dedicating hours to each model to ensure the shape and quality achieve their high standards while sharing peeks into their development process on social media.
Flicker, their plug design, is designed “for maximum comfort, all while staying in place.” It features an oblong egg-like shape with a tapered tip, thick midsection, slim stem, and sturdy T-shaped base that makes it safe for anal use. It has a strong curve for G-spot/P-spot stimulation. The shape is different for each variant/size, with the swell being proportionately slimmer on the smallest (V1) and practically spherical on the largest (V5).

Flicker V3‘s widest point is 5.25″ circumference/1.75″ diameter. I’m still figuring out what size I enjoy most for anal use. Slimmer plugs have not always worked for me, but I know I can take some toys thicker than this, so I hoped this size would be a good fit.
Flicker V5‘s widest point is 7.25″ circumference/2.5″ diameter. It’s safe to say this one’s not going in my butt, but I’ve definitely taken dildos that thick vaginally. This size pushes my limits.
I opted for both in medium firmness 00-50. Firmer plugs are easier to insert anally, and for vaginal use, I sometimes can’t feel softer firmnesses that well, especially when sitting still. Both are in the color Black Hole, a shimmery black with beautiful ripples from the metallic pigment.
The plugs came with a black organza bag, purple fabric square, and a care sheet. The organza bag alone would not offer discreet storage, but if I keep the fabric inside the bag, it’s as discreet as any other bag.
Both plugs were dusted with cornstarch, which prevents lint from sticking to the toys and ensures the customer cleans the toy themselves before use; few shops do this, but it’s perfectly safe for the silicone and can be washed off with soap and water. (It’s best practice to wash new toys before use anyway. Some may have invisible residue from the production process, dust, or tiny crumbs of loose silicone that need to be washed off.)

Flicker V3 is $32.95 and V5 is $41.95. Eros Foundry currently has a promotion advertised on their front page: “Buy One, Get 15% Off the Second Item!” with free domestic shipping in the US. V3 can also be purchased as part of a set with V1, V2, and V3.
In Use (Vaginal)
Flicker V5 sits very comfortably. Once used to it, I can almost forget about the plug when I’m not clenching around it, except for the base. The base doesn’t stick out into my underwear, so is easy to wear.
If I want a fantasy of being knotted, this plug’s going to fit the bill better than most knot dildos because it’s both filling and locks in well.
The slim stem and curved angle lock the plug inside extremely well. Once it’s in, it’s not coming out unless I pull it out. I can walk around with no problem. Take a shower, masturbate externally, play video games… It stays in place and it’s comfortable even though it’s on the thicker side for me.
The thickness is incredibly filling. It presses right up against my G-spot and stays there. The sensation falls to the background if I get too relaxed, but if I’m rubbing my clit, walking around, or otherwise doing something that would cause me to clench or move those muscles, then I can feel it the whole time. The roundness makes the stretch feel more pronounced.
The roundness makes it a little painful to insert and remove, but that’s typical for me with thick, rounded plugs and knots. The stretch is most intense on the band of skin around my entrance, rather than internally. For inserting, I need to be warmed up and prepare for the brief pinch; for removal, I reduce the strain by using one hand to keep the band of skin from stretching outward from my body (pressing two fingers against the skin at the top of my entrance).
Side note about pain: I generally do not recommend using a toy that is painful. In this case, I know my limits well, I know that I am not causing injury, and the pain does not persist once inside or once removed, so I am comfortable with it. However, if you feel pain internally, if the pain is a new experience, or if you have any doubt if there is bruising/tearing or not, I strongly recommend ceasing use of a toy.
Wearing the plug for a little while makes it easier to use thick dildos afterwards. Normally I’d warm up by starting with a comfortably sized dildo and working my way up, but Flicker does the trick, assuming I’m patient enough not to jerk off right away.
Flicker’s T-shaped base interferes mildly with external play. When rubbing my clit, the underside presses against the outside of the base, and the hard edge of the flat side is a little uncomfortable, though not painful. A brief adjustment can shift it away. I can use an air pulse vibe with minimal restriction. Using a bullet vibe is easy enough along the top and sides of my clit, but on the underside, it bumps against the plug, transferring the vibrations. Honestly, I really like that! While I would prefer a smaller base, the larger T-base makes it safe for anal play.
Flicker V3 is much smaller than I prefer for v-plugs, but its shape allows it to stay in place well if I don’t use too much lube. Too much lube and it pops right back out. For warm-up, it’s not bad, but I can’t feel its presence that well once I’m warmed up.

In Use (Anal)
Flicker V3 is very comfortable for anal use. It’s slimmer than the maximum I can take anally (which would be around 2″ diameter), but since I don’t often use toys anally, I need to work up to it a little bit.
Entry is difficult if I’m not opened up. That’s not unique to Flicker, though, and it’s not as difficult as plugs that have unsupportive stems. I find that what works for me is to hold the plug atop a folded towel for some height, crouch, and slowly sink down on top of it. With lots of lube, of course. It’s a stretch, but it doesn’t hit the point of “Oh God, can I really do it?” that I get with some plugs.
It sits snugly without trying to pop back out. It’s nicely filling without being overwhelming. After a minute or two, I adjust to the size and the stretch doesn’t bother me. Thanks to the firmness, I constantly feel its presence. When orgasming, it’s really nice to feel its pressure distinctly each time I clench down.
While the shape is very easy to insert, I don’t enjoy it as much as rounded plugs once inside. It’s less “feeling filled and plugged/knotted” and more “feeling like something’s in there.” I think the curve impacts this. I suspect it would be very nicely shaped if I had a prostate considering where it presses, but the curve doesn’t do anything particular for my body.
It’s very easy to remove. Rounded and large plugs are difficult for me to remove both vaginally and anally, which is really uncomfortable after I’ve orgasmed and just want to get it out, but Flicker V3’s slimmer, tapered shape makes it a breeze. I need to relax and go slowly, but the stretch that I get upon entry is mostly absent.
The base is very secure. It can be a little annoying if I’m trying to use a dildo vaginally at the same time, depending on the size of the dildo’s base, but it does not significantly bother me.

Overall
Eros Foundry’s Flicker is a well designed plug that sits inside snugly while providing front wall/G-spot pressure. The largest, the V5, is excellent as a V-plug, pushing my limits and filling me up while pressing against my G-spot; I only wish it were slightly less rounded to make insertion and removal easier. The smaller one I received, the V3, is a great size for a butt plug, is easy to insert and remove and is comfortable, but I don’t particularly enjoy the sensation of the curve.
I definitely recommend the Flicker line for use as v-plugs. For anal use, they would be great for anyone who wants a plug that’s easier to insert and remove than a rounded one.
