I go feral for the fantasy of a dragon (or merfolk, or other scaly fellow) with a massive tapered cock. That kind of thing brings out all my fantasies of being bred and used. It seems a little at odds with my usual taste for strong texture and thick heads, but hey, I’ll compromise on functionality to fill a fantasy every now and then.
As it turns out, Ember doesn’t compromise any functionality—it’s excellent and just about perfect for me.
Design & Specs
Lycantasy is a disabled- and trans-owned indie fantasy sex toy company producing toys that are creative, accessible, and inclusive. Their lineup includes plugs, grinders, penetrables, and dildos in all sorts of shapes and sizes, alongside adorable squishable friends.
Ember the Dragonborn features a meaty, tapered cock emerging from a scaly slit. The subtle sculpted veins and wrinkles make the shaft look realistic, and the matte finish gives it a very skin-like texture. The design is just right for my fantasies, although since I wasn’t sure how well it would work for me in use, I wasn’t fully committed to trying one out until the right discount popped up.
My Ember is in the Black Friday 2025 coloration Radiant Opal, which is pearly white with green, blue, and pink shimmer. The shimmer distribution comes down to the luck of the draw; my Ember’s shimmer is primarily green. The Black Friday colors that Lycantasy offers are always gorgeous and come with a discount (35% in this case), but they’re limited to once a year, and the colors are different each year.

Large Ember is massive, with 9″ usable length and a maximum girth of 2.8″ diameter (8.75″ circumference). That’s about the limit of what girth I can take, and as for the length, the only way for me to take it all would be depth play (that is, to have the tip going behind the cervix, past my typical depth limit). The base is about 2″ tall.
At about 2″ down the tip, it’s 1.4″ diameter across (4.5″ circ). At 7″ down is the midpoint of the lower curve, which is 2.5″ diameter (8″ circumference).
In medium firmness 00-50, it feels a little firmer than my other dildos in the same firmness. Some of that is from the girth, but some is also from the natural variation of silicone. It’s still within the range that I expect. With how thick it is, I can really feel the pressure and the stretch when it’s inside of me.
Along with the dildo, I ordered a Slipfin Squishable in Radiant Opal, and received a few branded items and squishies (including a tiny Lyca Squishable in a gorgeous pearl green that I absolutely love). At first, I thought the Slipfin Squishable would be palm-sized like my other one (which was a freebie with my Slipfin Alien dildo), but it turns out it’s a good bit larger.

Large Ember starts at $145, but with the 35% Black Friday discount, mine was $94. I also ordered a Slipfin Squishable ($40 base price, down to $26 with the discount since I got that in Radiant Opal as well).

In Use (Vaginal)
Ever since getting Kane, I’ve been on a depth play kick. I so badly want to get dildos as deep as they will go, slipping into the space behind my cervix while my entrance is stretched. At 9″ long, if I want to take Ember’s full shaft, I need to get the tip all the way back there.
That’s easier said than done. While the tip is tapered, it’s still very rounded and not quite as thin as it could be. With enough lube and wiggling, I can get it back there, although I can’t manage to take it all the way. When I fail, there’s uncomfortable pressure against my cervix. When I succeed, the pressure is not as uncomfortable, but still not fully comfortable. It has been getting a little better each time I play. The verdict on whether I can use Ember for depth play is mixed: I can, but I need more practice before I can stretch my depths enough to make it comfortable.
And you can absolutely bet that I am practicing. I fucking love this dildo.

The top half enters so, so smoothly, gliding inside easily once lubed up. Frankly, I’m not sure how the design works this well, but even with just the top half, I can get wicked front wall stimulation that really gets me going. The tip alone is pretty good at pressing against very satisfying spots if I angle it right on the downstroke (and it’s very easy to get a good angle). The dildo being in medium firmness helps; if it were softer, the tip would be bendier and not as good at poking the right spots.
The bottom half fills me up and the lower curve (in part thanks to its thick girth) presses against my G-spot and front wall. The pressure from it being so thick and curved makes me squirt as long as I relax enough, and it does that without any of the post-G-spot-slamming discomfort I sometimes get from my njoy Pure Wand. Plus, when I’m bouncing on that lower half, the skin-like texture really shines; it offers the perfect amount of friction, so I get the rubbing that I crave right alongside the pressure.
While the thick girth is a stretch, it’s relatively easy to get in thanks to the gradual taper. I can handle 2.5″ on Ember no problem, although it would be difficult to get in (and might feel more intense) with a similarly thick knot or plug.

Back to the depth play—I can almost take the full length, but not quite. I have to be a little careful not to sink down too hard, given the girth of the tip isn’t always fully comfortable deep inside. Ultimately, this just means every now and then I have to pull out halfway, readjust slowly, and then get back to it. Not too bad.
Ember is very well suited to riding. In this size, I don’t even have to prop it up on anything or hold it down since the base is huge. I also don’t have to get up off of it very often to reapply lube thanks to the matte finish.
When thrusting, I really like to thrust hard. It’s super satisfying, and it has a natural stopping point so that it doesn’t slam my cervix (the way that sinking down while riding on it could). The big base is a little unwieldy, but I can get one or two hands on the base without having to grasp the edges—mostly with my palm against the base—and get plenty of leverage that way.
Every session ends up with me getting Ember’s tip deep inside, riding the lower portion, rotating it every now and then to adjust exactly what it’s doing to my front wall, and going as long as I can without touching myself externally. Not only does Ember make me squirt, it’s also the first dildo in years to make me have an orgasm from internal stimulation alone.

Overall
Ember’s an instant fave that immediately made it into my regular rotation. The design visually suits a dragon-fucking fantasy, the curve and skin-like texture are absolutely amazing, and the tapered tip is almost perfect for depth play. With a bit of practice, I think I can become more accustomed to the girth of the tip deep inside, which would make this pretty much perfect for me.
I would easily recommend Ember, with the caveat that depth play could take some work if you’re getting it in a length that’s longer than you’re used to. While I ordered mine at a discount, it’s absolutely worth the full list price (and totally fair for the amount of silicone that goes into it), and I’d pay it in a heartbeat if anything happened to my Ember.
