Review: Xenocat Artifacts Kane Alien Dildo

Kane is a segmented alien dildo with expertly sculpted fine detail that lends to a realistic monster fantasy. I’m not usually one for tapered tips, but Kane is so delicious visually that I had to give it a go—and I was very pleasantly surprised by how well it worked for me.

Design & Specs

Xenocat Artifacts specializes in alien fantasy toys with fantastical realism. I’ve reviewed some of their other toys, including their Tyramyth stroker and Cyerce Symbiote plug/grinder fusion, which tick my boxes for both texture and fantasy.

As a tapered dildo, Kane is thickest at the base and thinnest at the tip. Its two segmented bends enhance curves in the shape. It has finely sculpted skin and vein details all along the model, lending itself to a very realistic appearance, particularly in its signature gray-pink coloration.

My Kane is a beautiful pour of dark blue-gray, gold, and blue. It reminds me of the ocean and the flicker of scales catching the light. The dark colors and the marbling don’t showcase the sculpted details well, but I’m in love with the gorgeous pour. (My camera makes the blues more vibrant than they are in person in a way that’s difficult to color-correct, but it’s still a downright beautiful dildo.)

Large Kane is absolutely massive, standing a whopping 13″ tall with 10.5″ of that usable. The maximum girth, just above the base, is 8.5″ circumference. I normally don’t go for large dildos, especially ones this long—I max out around 7″ depth—but I figured it’d still be fun if I could use even half of it. I really wanted the huge monster fantasy.

Girth at the first curve (3″ down) is 4″ circumference. The second curve (5″ down) is 5.75″ circumference. The third curve (not segmented, 7.5″ down) is 6.5″ circumference.

Mine is in firmness 00-40, which is between Xenocat Artifacts’ soft (00-30) and medium (00-50). 00-40 is similar to A00 (used mostly by European brands, including Neotori) and is comparable to a gummy bear or a little softer than tensed muscle. It’s a little squishier than 00-50, resulting in something that feels a bit more realistic in hand since it has sufficient stiffness while also being squishy like flesh.

Large Kane starts at $175. Given the heft of this thing, I’m not surprised; that’s a lot of silicone. The smaller sizes are much more accessible ($55 small/$90 medium). I purchased mine with a $15 discount through Xenocat Artifacts’ newsletter.

In Use (Vaginal)

Let’s start with a fun fact: I can hilt Kane. All 10.5″ inches of it.

Normally, I’ll bottom out around 7″ on most dildos. Thanks to Kane’s slim tip, it slips into a space behind the cervix called the posterior fornix, a pocket which gives me a few more inches of depth. I can only get Kane to do that when rotated a certain way (with the tip pointing up/towards my front wall; the rotation does not need to be exact and I can rotate maybe 15-20% either way) and I need to angle the dildo to guide the tip towards my back wall.

In general, this kind of depth can be uncomfortable. The thicker the head is, the harder it is to get back there, and the more weird pressure I feel. The curve might have an impact too, which I think is why VaaChar’s Oisin can be a little uncomfortable for me. But make the tip too thin and pokey and I risk cervix-stabbing discomfort.

Kane strikes a near-perfect balance of being slim enough to slip behind the cervix while being rounded enough not to stab my cervix. I get some of that uncomfortable pressure when I’m not warmed up or when Kane is rotated the wrong way, but it’s much easier once I’m at least halfway aroused, and it does not need to be perfectly rotated.

I can go fast and hard and keep achieving the depth that I want without an issue as long as I keep an effective angle. The base is hefty enough to hold easily while thrusting, which is my preferred way to use Kane, but it’s also very stable to ride without having to hold it down.

Fully inserted, it’s nice and filling at my entrance. It’s not as filling as I’d like on account of the softness (a little firmer would be perfect for that), but it’s just firm enough to make it satisfying without an uncomfortable stretch.

Kane is a mostly smooth ride. The detailed skin texture is mostly aesthetic, at least in firmness 00-40, although the finish and firmness make the surface feel skin-like. Only the texture at the joints stands out to me.

Kane’s curves are spectacular. Similar to Magic Within’s CEPHALLUS, the curves create an illusion of movement that makes the dildo feel more alive. The best part is the second joint down, about halfway down the shaft: The outer curve of that joint presses against my front wall with a generous amount of pressure against my G-spot, made more delicious with the smoothness of Kane in motion. This curve is so good I’ll spend half a session focusing on that alone.

Overall

Kane is a stellar dildo that fully fills the fantasy of getting fucked by a monster with a massive cock, particularly in large size with firmness 00-40. At first it looked like it would be entirely outside of my tastes—a few inches too long, tip too thin, and too many curves—but it’s near perfect for me, both in use and for the fantasy. It’s great for vaginal depth play and G-spot stimulation. Texture-wise, it feels almost entirely smooth, but the shape is where Kane truly shines.
