Flash of Prey boasts intense texture, beautiful colors, and a unique shape, making it a dragon dildo worth trying. On top of that, it’s one of few dildos out there represented by a female character. As a bisexual who loves texture, it’s a good fit for my tastes.
Design & Specs
Master4Fancy creates downright stunning toys. Their designs have high quality details and unique silhouettes, while their pours are loaded with shimmer and they use Near Clear silicone in a way that looks crystalline. I’ve previously reviewed their Reaper 403, ÖLZIITEI, and Burning Sword.
Flash of Prey is a dragon dildo representing an erect clitoris, one of few toys that does so while identifying the character as female rather than transmasc. It’s really cool to see this exploration of fantasy anatomy, and I find that I’m really into the thought of a dragon mating me with her huge clit.
The base has pebbly, rounded scales, while the shaft has large ridged scales on the top half, bumps along the outside edges of those scales, and a muscular underside with a line of bumps down the center. The head has a pointed tip and meaty ridge, all rounded in a way that makes it look plush. The overall shape swells in the middle.
Medium size Flash of Prey has a usable length of 6.8″ and maximum girth of 2.3″ diameter/6.4″ circumference, which is similar to or a little thicker than most other medium-size dildos I own.
In soft firmness 2A, it feels like 00-40, which is moderately squishy. It feels a little squishier than 00-40 normally would when in hand, but in use, the pressure and squishiness feel comparable to 00-40.
I selected the coloration Rosy Reverie, which is a highlight/wash of shimmery pink over pearlescent white. While I didn’t select it for a realistic look, I love the way it makes the head look fully pink, which lends itself to my fantasies.
In addition to Flash of Prey, I also received medium-size Burning Sword for review, two character prints with a SFW side and NSFW side, two plastic storage bags, two mesh bags, teenies, stickers, a cute care booklet, and two large branded storage bags that are velvety on the outside with satin inside. The bubble wrap inside the package was heart-shaped.

In Use (Vaginal)
The rounded-tip head is easy to insert and overall very gentle. It pops in and out in a way that’s noticeable but effortless, and the tapered tip is comfortable even when fully inserted, giving none of the cervix-poking that I suffer from some pointy-tipped dildos. Once inside, I don’t feel the head very much; the edges are too smooth to give the experience of a strong coronal ridge, and soft firmness 2A might be a little too soft for me to feel the head well.
That said, I didn’t get this one for the head; the texture and swell are much more interesting.
Flash of Prey is more texturally intense than I expected. The bumpy texture pushes outwards, and the shape and placement end up making the texture more prominent than the swell. It almost feels like it’s spreading me open, but in a flat way rather than the usual rounded stretch.
I love the top side’s texture against my front wall. The plates rub right against my favorite spots, and when rotated, the bumpy edges do so as well. It’s downright delicious. I prefer the bumpy texture since it’s more of a constant.
The texture is strong enough to make me feel sore afterwards. Not “I definitely bruised something” or “I feel like I just had an amazing workout” kind of sore, but rather “I need a few days before I can do that again” kind of sore. (That’s not a bad thing, and not unusual with very large or very textured dildos, at least for me.)
While I enjoy the texture along my front half internally, I’m not a big fan of it along the back half. With the smooth underside against my front wall, the textured top side aggravates my back wall a little bit, and if I rotate to get the bumpy texture right against my front wall, then the opposite end rubs against my back wall… there isn’t an ideal angle.
I really like the smoother underside against my front wall since the shape presses against me nicely for broad, gentle G-spot stimulation and the line of bumps is very pleasant, so I kind of wish the textured side weren’t so intense so that I could really enjoy the underside.
The swell seats itself nicely due to the size and shape. It doesn’t fully lock inside or press strongly against my G-spot, though, and it’s not quite as filling as more rounded swells. However, the less intense swell makes it easier to take, and means the experiences is more focused on the texture than the swell.
The base is easy to hold from all angles. This is really convenient since I prefer to thrust rather than ride. When riding, I need to hold it down with one hand or a strap. It’s okay to sit on like a stationary plug, but with all that texture, I get more out of friction than I do from sitting on the swell.
Overall
Flash of Prey has great texture and nice shape, but while these elements are great on their own, they aren’t arranged in a way that works great for me. I wish the texture had slightly different placement to focus more texture against my front wall at once, or lower intensity to make it more comfortable to use the underside against my front wall without aggravating my back wall.
I still like the dildo—but for my tastes, the design is good, not great.
If you enjoy texture and the texture placement would work with your body, this may be a good choice! If the texture seems like a lot, then I would suggest dropping down to a softer firmness or smaller size if it seems intimidating.
