As a sex toy designer, I have the good fortune to design dildos that cater to my personal tastes; I not only get to see my creations come to life, but in many cases, I also get a toy that works really well with my body.
Bunny-Works, a new indie shop, partnered with me to add a few of my models to their launch lineup. I’m extremely pleased to say that they turned out absolutely fantastic, and I really hope that other people enjoy them as much as I do.
About Bunny-Works
Bunny-Works, a trans-owned indie sex toy shop, carries a lineup of fantasy dildos and strokers with a bit of something for everyone between the different sizes, colors, shapes, and texture styles. They’re among the many awesome indies who work with freelance designers.
Full disclosure: The dildos reviewed in this article were designed and sculpted by me. As a freelance designer, I showcase my models online for shops who may be interested in producing them. Bunny-Works purchased commercial production rights for these models, then sent me a custom copy of each one as part of the arrangement. I didn’t have an obligation to review these dildos, but I’m excited for their shop and really pleased with how these toys turned out.

I requested all three of these in their standard firmness 00-50, my usual preference. In hand, they feel softer and squishier than expected, more like 00-40 or even 00-30, similar to relaxed muscle. However, in use, they have the pressure and firmness I usually expect from 00-50, meaning that I can feel the shape and texture very well.
The toys I requested and received:
- Valefor – XL – Purple-to-white fade shaft + black & white base
- Salos – Large – Sunrise fade
- Beleth – Medium – Dark purple to purple shaft + cream base
Not all of the options I selected are available to customize on the site, but you can get pretty close. Beleth’s purple shaft shows up more blue-toned in photos than it is in person; it really is purple.
While all of these have shimmery pigments, the shimmer is subtle on account of the matte finish. I love the finish because it provides a skin-like feel with more friction than shiny dildos, and it’s great at holding onto lube without having to reapply lube often, but it is not great at showcasing shimmer.
Bunny-Works has consistent pricing for sizes across their models: Minis start at $39, smalls at $59, mediums at $89, larges at $129, XLs at $189, and queens at $249. There are upcharges for color selections based on complexity.
While many fantasy toy shops run large, Bunny-Works runs small: Minis are smaller than the average human cock. This makes the brand more approachable for those who need or prefer smaller dildos, while also having larger sizes that appeal to me and others who prefer bigger toys.

Customs are available for many of their models with a very broad range of options. The customizer can be a little finicky about showing the correct price at the bottom, but the price in the cart is accurate, and clearing your cache or a hard refresh of the web page should fix the customizer price display.
In addition to customs, they offer premade toys in signature colors and non-standard rogue colors, plus discounted flops. Sales, drops/restocks, and updates are announced on Bluesky.
Valefor the Shark-kin

Valefor was originally designed in 2022 to fit the niche of orca-inspired dildos, with more of a fantastical flair and rounded tip than I usually saw in such designs. It wasn’t initially designed for my own tastes, but since developing an interest in depth play, I’ve been a whole lot more interested in seeing this one get produced. I touched it up a couple times over the years (the original sculpt definitely wasn’t as good as it could be), then made a few final tweaks when requested by Bunny-Works.
In size XL, it has almost 8.5″ usable length. The rounded thick-yet-tapered tip is about 1.2″ diameter (3.5″ circumference) and the shaft swells up to 2.5×2.3″ diameter (7.5″ circumference) at its thickest point, where it has broad, smooth ripples angled along the sides. While hefty, it’s more modest than some other large and extra large dildos I own.

Valefor’s slim upper shaft is easy to insert. It’s thick enough not to bend away and firm enough that, once inside, it almost feels like a thick finger rubbing inside of me. While I can’t angle it to press against my G-spot, it has a lot more presence than most other tapered dildos I own. The skin-like texture helps add friction.
The length of the XL means that it reaches my cervix. If I want to fit the full swell inside, I need the tip to slip behind my cervix for depth play, which is something I’ve recently been exploring. It’s just slim enough to work out for me. Even on days when I can’t take the tip all the way, I can still fit some of the swell and enjoy that stretch.
The thick swell stretches me out and fills me nicely. The sculpted texture is more mild than I anticipated, but the skin-like surface texture enhances the sensation and adds friction, so every movement rubs against me nicely. The swell is thick enough to press against my front wall for broad G-spot stimulation, and I can enhance this by riding at certain angles to press it more firmly against my front wall.
The stem under the swell isn’t slim enough for it to lock inside. I wish the stem were slightly longer and slimmer to make it lock. While I did add a bit more stem per Bunny-Works’ request, I could have added more. I’ve experienced similar with Crimson Knight and Selkie: If the stem isn’t long enough, the swell or knot won’t stay inside.
The base is easy to hold for thrusting, and while it’s large enough for riding, it doesn’t have a lot of weight and may need to be held down. The fins that stick out are soft, so while they poke my thighs while in use, I don’t really pay attention to them and they don’t get in the way.
Salos the Undine

From the start, Salos was designed to fit my tastes: A single line of strong, spiky texture on a merfolk-inspired design.
In size large, it has a usable length of about 7.5″. The tip is 1.2″ across (3.75″ circumference) and it reaches a maximum girth of 2×1.8″ diameter (6″ circumference). The girth isn’t as filling as I typically prefer, but still satisfactory. Any bigger and I wouldn’t have been able to fit the whole thing. I was also worried that the spikes could be too aggravating if I went for XL.
The spikes make for a pokey, not-quite-sharp sensation of strong texture that I very much enjoy. I want that kind of strong stimulation! Against my front wall, it’s a dream, and I can rotate it for a different sensation. The texture is strong enough that even short, slow thrusts can do the job. The curvy shape varies the exact way it presses against my walls. Against my back wall, however, the spikes become a bit aggravating because I’m more sensitive to texture.
I have to be careful not to rub the spikes quickly while centered against my front wall, otherwise that aggravates my urethra. With such strong texture, that’s not a surprise. It only needs to be rotated a little bit to avoid this discomfort while still enjoying the texture almost centered against my front wall.
It’s easy to hold for thrusting, but the base is not heavy enough to ride without holding it down.
Beleth the Hinterlander

Initially designed as a dragon dildo with gentle scales at the base, Beleth was revamped into a fluffy demon, retaining the uniquely textured shaft with a new furry base.
In size medium, Beleth has a usable length of 6″. The head is 1.5″ diameter (4.75″ circumference) and it has a maximum girth of 1.8″ diameter (5.75″ circumference).
As much as I enjoy big toys, and as much as I suspect the large would have worked pretty well for me, I don’t have a lot of smaller textured toys for vaginal warmup or days when I want a girth that doesn’t stretch me at all, so I opted for medium.
The shape is super comfortable and a natural fit. It slots in nicely with its subtle swell. In this size, it’s neither filling nor a stretch, but it’s still thick enough to feel good.
The curve, at least in this size, is mild. While the shape and texture feel nice, it doesn’t press right up against any of my favorite spots. The underside is super smooth against my front wall, and the texture is mild enough that it doesn’t aggravate my back wall, so it’s enjoyable to use it at that angle (ie doggystyle). The textured side against my front wall is gentler than it looks on account of the comfortable fit and the relatively low height of the texture; the scaly texture in the center is very subtle as a result.
I misjudged how the curve would work for me; I thought it would offer fair G-spot stimulation—for which smaller dildos are sometimes better thanks to having more maneuverability to angle them right—but it does not. It seems like the kind of curve that works better when it fills you up and naturally presses against the right spots rather than being angled that way, so large or XL would have been a better fit for me when it comes to that aspect.

Overall
It’s always exciting to see my own designs come to life, especially when the outcome is so pretty and works well for me. Of the three designs that Bunny-Works picked up from me, two of them suit me well, while the third turned out just alright. All three of them were beautifully produced and have a lovely skin-like finish and great quality, and I’m happy to have placed them in Bunny-Works’ capable hands.
Valefor is great for a long and filling dildo and is my favorite of the bunch. Salos is just as deliciously spiky as I had hoped, with texture and curves that I love. Beleth isn’t quite to my tastes, suiting me better as a warmup toy, but it wasn’t designed to be perfect for me in the first place and I sized down, so I’m not surprised.
