Faeles from Uberrime is an instant favorite. It’s not every day that I get a dildo that hits all the right spots, fills me up, and keeps me riding for hours, but this one blew past my expectations and has a permanent place beside my bed.
Design & Specs
Uberrime is a long-standing indie sex toy shop with a large catalog of silicone toys from realistic and fantasy dildos to v-plugs and grinders. Their stellar designs bridge a gap between mainstream tastes and fantasy designs, carrying something for everyone no matter what their sex toy background is, with sizes ranging from accommodatingly petite to monstrously large.
Faeles, one of their latest designs sculpted by Kat (ExcelDDesigns), called to me right away. It has a curve, a well defined head, moderate texture along the full shaft (including pebbled texture/bumps), and a design that’s detailed enough to evoke the fantasy of an actual creature. What that creature is, that’s in the eye of the beholder; anything with furry balls and a sheath at the base of its cock may fit, whether that’s a furry, monster, or cryptid.
I have both a large and a small. It is also available in medium size. This article will focus on the large since that one’s a good fit for my tastes, but I did try out the small a few times and have some feedback on that one as well.

The large Faeles has a very hefty base and a girthy shaft that reaches up to 2.4″ diameter (7.5″ circumference) with a usable length of 8″. The head is 1.6″ diameter (5″ circumference) and the upper curve is 1.8″ to 2.2″ diameter (5.5″ to 6.5″ circumference).
It’s a bit of a beast to store given the size, but the base is really good at holding it in place for riding (more on that further down). In soft firmness 00-50, it feels akin to tensed muscle and has some flexibility.
The large is a three-color custom of Pearl Violet at the tip, Colorshift Purple at the base, and Clear Glitter Shimmer as a middle/accent color. The result is gorgeous with far more shimmer than I can capture on camera.

The small, on the other hand, is much smaller with only 5.25″ of usable length and a girth of up to 1.5″ diameter (4.75″ circumference). This is closer in size to the average cock.
The small is a two-color surprise premade that was used for one of the stock photos of the model on Uberrime’s website. I believe it’s a combination of Ginger Shift and Lilac Shift, but not 100% certain. Photos sometimes make it appear to have a third color in a green hue, but it’s actually only two colors; the green is from the shift and only shows up at some angles. The shifting is pretty funky (and nigh impossible to capture in photos). In soft firmness 00-50, it’s fairly squishy and flexible thanks to the slimness.

The finish on both of them is smooth, subtle matte, which increases the friction without necessarily adding sensation.
In addition to both Faeles, I received small Cthulhu at the same time as part of my affiliate partnership with Uberrime.
Large Faeles starts at $199 ($223 for a 3-color custom like mine) and small Faeles starts at $75 ($111 for a 2-color custom with two colorshifts). Rarely, they are available at a discount through grab bags.
The large is one of my most expensive valued dildos; the only silicone dildos I have that are worth more are fancy hand-painted ones from Magic Within, and the only model I have with a similar starting price is a massive double-shafted dildo. Given the amount of silicone, I’m not surprised by the cost. It’s not the kind of price I’d want to pay for a dildo that I consider just “okay” in use, and I’ll admit that the price deterred me from buying one right away in case I didn’t like it as much as I hoped, so I was excited when Uberrime offered one for review and saved me from continuing to waffle on that decision.
I can now comfortably say that, had I purchased the model directly, it would have been 100% worth it; and if anything were to happen to mine, I’d buy a new one in a heartbeat. It’s a damn good dildo.

In Use (Vaginal)
Large Faeles is a great size for me for vaginal use, so that’s the one that I’m focusing on here. The head and upper shaft are comfortable and easy to insert, in part because this size is a good fit for me. The rounded, slightly tapered head is both comfortable and satisfying. I was a little worried it would be difficult to insert the lower half, since I sometimes have an issue with wider lower shafts, but it’s actually very easy as long as I’m warmed up.
Faeles’ girth makes it very filling without being a stretch; the size is at that sweet spot for me. Length-wise, I can almost fit it all, but there’s still an inch at the bottom that I can’t take. If I try taking the full thing, it ends up banging against my cervix. Since the tip is rounded, it’s not painful, although if I do that too much it might kick off cramps within a couple hours.
Because of the girth, it doesn’t have much leverage to angle against certain spots for focused stimulation, like focused G-spot stimulation. I imagine the medium size would be a better candidate for that, because the curve and head seem good for it.
The head and the underside of the curve both offer really nice front wall stimulation, so I can get broad, constant pressure against my favorite spots no matter the angle, plus friction from the texture. It’s almost the perfect combination. I sometimes wish that the curve were a little more intense and the head had a stronger coronal ridge so that I could get stronger stimulation, but the moderate intensity has the benefit of remaining comfortable for long periods of time. It’s a fair trade-off: Strong enough to feel really good without ever becoming overwhelming.

Bumps can be hit or miss for me: I love them, but if they’re too smooth, I can’t feel them well. Thankfully, Faeles’ bumpy texture is defined enough for me to feel it well despite its relative smoothness. Smaller bumps add friction while larger bumps rub against me in a more noticeable way. The combination is quite nice and I’d put this solidly in the “moderately textured” category. I wish there were a bit more texture so that I could feel it better with more lube, but as it is, the level of texture works out well even on days when I’m more sensitive than usual.
The bumps on the head creep up on me. They’re not super obvious; a drawback I find with Bad Dragon’s Ky’el, which has similar bumps, is that the head bumps feel sandpapery, but that’s not the case with Faeles. Instead, I hardly notice the bumps at first, but as the head brushes against particular spots inside of me, I start to notice the increase in friction which enhances the sensations.
Faeles is one of the few dildos to make me have internal orgasms—that is, I can come without touching my dick at all. Multiple times in one session. I tested out a bunch of dildos to see if it was just a quirk of my body changing, since another dildo I got recently has also given me internal orgasms, but nope; Faeles is just well built for it. The texture is a key part of that, in combination with broad pressure against my front wall.

The base is easy to hold for thrusting and perfect for riding. Despite the weight of the base, I don’t get a ton of finger strain from using it like I do with some other large-base dildos, although I need to be mindful of the strain it puts on my wrist. When riding, the base stays in place very well without anything to hold it down, and the height means I never need to prop it up on top of anything. Storage-wise, it’s a little annoying, but it is nice when I can ride a dildo without needing any accessories.
The ease of riding, the texture being neither abrasive nor subtle, and the comfortable curve make it possible to ride for hours without getting bored. Seriously: I’ve gone for 1-2 hours straight a few times now. I mix it up a bit by swapping between thrusting and riding, but ultimately end up riding most of that time, limited only by leg cramps. It just keeps on rubbing against the right spots, and when I rotate it, the sensation changes but remains very satisfying. There are few dildos that strike the right balance for me to enjoy for more than half an hour straight without switching it up or focusing on my dick instead, but it’s extremely satisfying that I can ride Faeles for such a long time with hardly any external stimulation.
While the large is a great size for me, I tried the small for vaginal play and I liked it more than I expected! I can distinctly feel the texture and it gently rubs against my front wall the full time. I can’t angle it for pinpoint stimulation and it’s not filling, but for a dildo that’s much smaller than I prefer, I’m impressed. (Not impressed enough to add the small to my regular rotation—I crave girth too much—but I don’t dislike it.)
In Use (Anal)

Small Faeles is an excellent size and firmness for anal. With a bit of lube, it’s not difficult to insert, and it doesn’t feel like a stretch at all, instead feeling very comfortable. The soft firmness 00-50 means I feel every inch of it, so it feels sturdy and hard, but not uncomfortably so. Unlike the large, I don’t really feel the bumps on the head; they’re more subtle.
While I love the relatively smooth upper shaft, the stronger texture on the lower shaft (the sheath) is too much for me. It doesn’t hurt, but it has a sort of gritty sensation that I find unpleasant. I’m pretty sensitive to texture for anal play, so I’m not surprised by this, although a little sad that I can’t enjoy it as much as I want to.
It’s easy to hold for thrusting. Riding is viable, but not ideal; the base isn’t that tall or heavy, so it won’t stay in place easily.
I might come back to it in the future and give it another try—tastes can change over time, after all—but for now, it’s not going into my anal rotation.

Overall
Uberrime’s Faeles suits me extremely well and is easy to ride for hours at a time (at least in size large). The texture, curve, and head all strike the right balance of being satisfying without being intense, and the base’s heft puts it at the perfect height while keeping it in place. It’s an instant favorite in my collection, especially if I want to sit back and enjoy a long session without swapping between multiple dildos.
Small Faeles doesn’t tickle me quite as well. I’m very sensitive to texture when using toys anally, and this one has just a little too much for my comfort, although the shape, size, and firmness are nice.
I would absolutely recommend Faeles to just about anyone in your preferred size.
