Review: Vulpini Design Sasha Catboy Dildo

Sasha from Vulpini Design is a prickly feline-inspired dildo designed to fill anthro furry fantasies, featuring a humanoid profile with fantasy flair. I love a good humanoid shape and I’ve got a taste for spikes and strong texture, so I was curious whether this would hit the spot or if the texture would prove to be too intense.

Design & Specs

Sasha is described as a “were-tiger, were-lion, or cat-boy” dildo. It features a gentle upper swell, rows of smooth spikes along the shaft, and a spiked coronal ridge that juts out. Sasha’s barbs stick out further than most dildos; spikes that point outwards or downwards can present production issues, and I’m impressed that my Sasha doesn’t seem to have a single flaw like air bubbles in the tips. The design is markedly different from my other anthro feline dildo, Neotori Finn.

In medium size, Sasha is easily within my preferred specs, with a maximum girth of 2.1″ diameter/6.3″ circumference. Medium firmness 00-50 makes it nice and sturdy with some squish.

I requested my Sasha as a custom fade from Pink Gold (light pink with gold shimmer) at the tip to Misty Lavender (blue-ish purple with blue shimmer) at the base. Vulpini Designs makes really nice fades and mine turned out gorgeous, reminding me of the sky at dawn. Even though the finish of the toy is close to matte and not very shiny, the shimmer shows off beautifully.

Sasha came with a beautiful purple canvas bag with the Vulpini Design logo on it. It’s sturdy and much less linty than cotton bags can be. I love light purple, so the bag was a really nice surprise. (Plus, it matches the dildo.)

Medium-size Sasha starts at $90, and one with a custom two-color fade would be $105. Additional customization options are available and Vulpini Design may be contacted before purchasing to discuss options not listed on the site. Vulpini Design currently offers free shipping on orders totaling $50 or more.

In Use (Vaginal)

Sasha looks intimidating, but it’s a lot gentler than it looks. I’d mark it on the lower end of the texture scale: Most of the spikes are subtle in use and the spikes on the head aren’t very pokey.

The coronal ridge juts out, so I can feel the head pop in and out. The spikes on the head are strong at the entrance if I’m not 100% warmed up and they can be a little irritating against my back wall, but lose some of that intensity deeper inside. I continue to feel sensation from the head deeper inside thanks to the prominence of the ridge, but due to the rounded spikes interrupting the edge shape, it actually feels less intense than a smooth ridge.

The spikes along the underside are my favorite. With that side against my front wall, I get excellent sensation along that ridge. The swell pushes that texture against my front wall for continuous stimulation, so I get the pressure that I like with moderate texture.

I can’t really define most of the other spikes in use. They feel like broad sensations from sets of spikes, if I even notice them at all. When I’m not fully warmed up they can feel a little prickly—potentially uncomfortable without being painful—but adding more lube cushions the texture and eliminates the prickliness. I lean towards less lube because I enjoy a bit of prickliness.

Due to the low intensity of most of the texture, I usually find myself turning the dildo to orient the underside against my front wall so that I can feel the most prominent spikes.

Sasha is comfortably filling and the gentle swell at top is subtle yet satisfying. It doesn’t lock in like strong swells do and the swell isn’t something I actively notice, but the dynamic girth changes exactly how stretched I feel at different points along the dildo. The size and firmness of my Sasha are perfect for my tastes as far as a filling sensation goes.

The balls are easy to hold and support the shaft well. I can grip the other side of the base, but that side has very little to work with, so it’s not ideal if I want to go rough or fast, especially if using lots of lube. If I want to use it with the coronal ridge facing against my front wall, I more or less have the grasp the entire base, which is a little awkward but not too difficult given the narrow profile of the base.

The lack of curve makes it nearly impossible to angle Sasha in a way that increases pressure against my lower front wall for G-spot stimulation. Adding a curve (which I suspect could cause production difficulties due to the spikes) or a more prominent swell (particularly along the underside) would be the cherry on top of this toy.

Overall

Sasha is a fierce-looking feline-inspired fantasy dildo that’s much more approachable than it looks. That can be be a good thing if you like low-to-moderate texture, although it may not satisfy those seeking strong texture from the spikes. The prominent coronal ridge and the line of spikes along the underside are pretty nice, with a gentle swell to complement them.

For those interested in an anthro feline fantasy, Sasha’s a nice design that straddles the line of human and furry without leaning too intensely either way. It’s customizable to boot, with enough options that one could match a character or fursona.

It doesn’t quite hit my sweet spot since I lean towards more intense textures and stronger curves, but it’s a solid dildo with some fun aspects, and I love how gorgeous mine turned out.
